Encouraging and supporting the development safe and warm homes is priority

Hobart's population growth trajectory isn't going anywhere. The urgent need for homes isn't going anywhere. This graph is pre-Covid so the climb is likely to be steeper in reality given the appeal of regional living.

If elected, one of my key focuses would be to help ensure that Hobart has enough safe and warm homes.

I would be a vote for smart new development that recognises that city and rural living are different.

I would be a vote for the efficient use of space and resources, welcoming greater density while staying true to what makes Hobart special. I would work hard to shift council from 'blocker' to 'enabler'.
