Council's new Aboriginal Strategy

Here's the Hobart City Council's latest Aboriginal related strategy. It hasn't been approved by Council as yet.


This strategy and processes to develop it cost the Council over $58,000.

The associated budget is for another $600,000 to be spent over four years on implementation.

Really is this core or correct use of HCC funds?

To me it creates more division between an “us and them“,

I am interested in Aboriginal Culture, and Early Tasmanian History of my family. Can I have a “gifted grant “

to keep researching and learning about mine please ?
